If you are a school doing any work around Dyslexia Awareness month in October or you are a parent of a child struggling with Dyslexia and would be interested in having an informal chat with someone who has lived experience and considers being dyslexic a superpower, please reach out.
Context:
I am not a Dr or a learning difficulties specialist. I had a clinical diagnosis when I entered my late teens and was lucky enough to have role models and cheerleaders who supported me to channel my neurodiversity into more of a superpower than a problem that 'needed' to be 'fixed.' Thankfully this chimes with new research around the Future of Work that is well worth an explore.
I am happy to share my experience well as a few 'Did you knows' in an informal chat with parents and their children or within a classroom setting ( before work or via a recorded video from my phone answering any questions)
